The Autonomous Operations team is responsible for deploying and maintaining Einride’s autonomous electric truck solution at client sites. Putting theory into practice, they get the wheels of change spinning. As an Autonomous Operations Specialist at Einride, you'll be joining a top talent team of ambitious, creative, kind-hearted people who challenge conventional thinking, think big, and aim for zero. Your mission when joining is to manage and optimize the day-to-day activities, processes, and resources for Daily Operations to ensure efficiency, quality, and customer satisfaction.

You will:

  • Act as the first point of contact for customers and partners, handle and resolve requests, regular updates and general communication.
  • Manage daily operations and planning including resources, documentation, training, processes & vehicle updates to enable smooth & efficient operation.
  • Analyze, optimize, and report on performance to secure KPIs and SLAs. You'll also support customer deployment projects & leading continuous improvement efforts.
  • Create, update, and organize daily operational documents and training manuals to ensure data is up to date and accurate for the operations team.
  • Have the opportunity to train and onboard new members of the US operations team. You will be responsible for the planning, executing, and onboarding of new team members as they become vital members of the operations team.

We expect you to have:

  • Prior experience in a customer-facing role, personnel training and documentation, operational team experience, logistics, or experience with autonomous vehicles is a major plus.
  • Demonstrated interest in new technologies, specifically within electric & autonomous transport, and sustainability.
  • Fluency with documentation creation, editing, and management within Google Suite (or equivalent). Experience with Slack and Jira is a plus.
  • 30-45 minutes commute to the Einride office in downtown Austin. The position require occasional travel to customer and other stakeholder visits.
  • Safety focused mindset, flexibility & clear communication are key skills for this role.

Bonus Qualifications:

  • Experience working with autonomous vehicles or commercial fleets
  • Experience as a trainer/instructor
  • Experience working in a collaborative team environment
  • Experience in operations, technology, or automotive
  • Proficient in G-suite or other office tools
  • Major credit card in candidate’s name (for travel)
  • Valid US passport (for international travel)
